Presents Four Part Series at MTSU

Whenever Coach Micheal Burt receives the opportunity to speak to the next generation and "coach" them up he never balks at the idea. Recognizing a true need for mentorship in today's society, specifically for college students, Coach Burt has once again teamed up with Dr. Colby Jubenville, Graduate Sport Management Director at Middle Tennessee State University, to implement his developmental opportunities for students of the program.

Being a former MTSU graduate himself, Coach Burt understands the different difficulties students face and the many directions their lives are pulling them during and after college. Students from Dr. Jubenville's Sport Industry class were afforded the invaluable experience and wisdom entrepreneurs pay thousands of dollars to observe during a four part series featuring Leadership Expert and Business Entrepreneur Micheal Burt.

The series, filmed on campus in the Learning Resource Center's satellite room, focused on Voice, Leadership, Execution, and Culture which has quickly become regionally known as the foundation of Coach Burt's message. Messages that can be tailored to audiences of all walks of life, but these particular sessions were geared towards the training of college students trying to find their unique voice.

Coach Burt Opens up Condo to Public

Advocates "mini-retirements"

No one believes in re-creation and inspiration more than Coach Micheal Burt so there was little surprise when he had the opportunity to invest in real estate property in the panhandle of Florida in 2009 and took it.

That property happens to be Splash!, rated as one of the top fifteen new beach resorts by "Florida Travel & Leisure" magazine. It is Panama City Beach's newest beachfront resort and offers fun for the whole family. With many different features, Splash! offers a water park, including a kids' pool park with waterslides, interactive water toys, a lazy river ride, and a "dive-in" movie theater as well as an arcade.

Adults can enjoy the fitness center with brand-new Life Fitness equipment while enjoying the ocean-front view, a pool and jacuzzi, poolside bar and grill, and free DVD rentals.

Burt Goes South to Work on Fifth Book

Gains New Perspective

With books written in inspirational places such as Hawaii, Alaska, and now Florida, Coach Micheal Burt believes that we are all trying to reach our "highest self" and many times that comes through finding places that touch the deepest part of ones nature.

With the success of the FirstBank partnership (closing in on 10,000 new accounts) and improvements with Ole South Properties (90+% of quarterly goals) Coach Burt decided it was time to head south to work on a forthcoming book (title to come) and other 2010 projects.

A firm believer in taking "mini-retirements", Coach Burt understands the importance of holding yourself accountable and does so by creating lists. He has been outlining these lists for quite some time and today, he is fortunate enough to have accomplished many of the things he has set out to achieve.

Burt "Wows" 500 at the TSBA Annual Conference at Opryland Hotel

This past weekend Coach Micheal Burt was featured as the keynote speaker on both days of the Tennessee School Board Association of school board members and directors of schools held at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn.

Coach Burt showed his versatility and knowledge in the different areas facing leaders today speaking on three separate occasions, addressing three different topics.

On Saturday he spoke on his signature topic of This Ain't No Practice Life to a crowd of 500. He followed that up with an audience of nearly 400 who chose his breakout session on "Common Dysfunctions of Boards." Coach Burt came back on Sunday morning to over 400 onlookers to speak about his latest book, The Anatomy of Winning-How to build cultures that produce.

Burt Hosts 'Promoters for Life' Power Luncheon

Two years ago Michael Burt was dreaming. Dreaming about how he could infuse his knowledge and ability into others creating positive and powerful changes in people and organizations.

At some point, the dreaming stopped and the vision began. Coach Burt's vision continues, as his campaign to add value to businesses in Middle Tennessee continues to move forward.

From day one, Coach Burt understood the difference between dreams and vision and the momentum he is creating has been recognized by the Middle Tennessee business community.

As the saying goes, "Dreaming happens when you're asleep, a vision happens when you're awake."
