Will Speak to Parents on Raising Athletic Children
Giving back to the community is a contribution Coach Micheal Burt continuously exudes throughout his success. His charitable efforts will be on service this upcoming weekend through his involvement with FirstShot Basketball. Tending to student-athletes has been a deed Coach Burt has over 20-years experience serving throughout his athletic coaching career and now as a business coach. Those efforts and experience will be called upon in a different capacity during FirstShot Parent Classes on raising athletic children.
During the FirstShot Parent Classes, Coach Burt will be speaking on his holistic approach to growing the body, mind, heart, and spirit of each player and the relationships between parents and coaches and the impact it has on children. These type of appearances are nothing new for Coach Burt of course as he has raised thousands of dollars through his Small Towns and Big Dreams initiative to give money back to local charities.
"Covey, my mentor, always said, 'Service is the rent we pay to live on this earth,' said Coach Burt, on his charitable contributions. "I've been extremely blessed and want to continue to help others find their unique gifts, develop those gifts, and give them away to others. At the core of my philosophy is helping causes I believe in and FirstShot and Andy Herzer is one of those causes."
