Coach Burt Delivers Legacy Management Systemnaifa_logo_big

Coach Micheal Burt took his “Coaching Up Corporate America” tour to Stones River Country Club on Wednesday. The luncheon featured guests from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), a group Coach Burt has previously "Coached Up."

But through his constant growth of knowledge, Coach Burt focused on a new concept for this group of NAIFA members. That message? Getting and keeping customers through a Legacy Management System he has developed and implemented during the growth of his own company www.coachburt.com.

As usual, Coach Burt did not disappoint as the group of 50 plus listeners feverishly took notes and understood a concept previously foreign to them. If nothing else was taken away, Coach Burt stressed that there are three types of clients: advocates, passives, and detractors. He emphasized how important building advocates are and walked them through a step-by-step process on how to do so.

“I always enjoy speaking to the group at NAIFA because these are people that constantly want to get better,” said Coach Burt. “They are humble and coachable and understand that now more than ever you have to get less with more. Everyone in that room is a leader and by understanding the Legacy Management System they will better be able to get and keep customers and build advocates.”

Coach Delivers His Message to Peers at Woodburycub

Once again, Coach Micheal Burt was able to go back to his roots in Cannon County, this time to perform a teaching in-service at Woodbury Grammar School. The event, sponsored by FirstBank, had many of the same educators in attendance that guided Coach Burt through his schooling and into his vocation now as a Leadership Expert.

The two hour session was focused on Coach Burt’s signature message of finding your unique voice in life. Despite growing up in a small town, Coach Burt made it clear that there is more out there if a person chooses to take that path. He encouraged others to not be discriminating external factors that push a person down from chasing their dominant aspirations.

When finished, over 100 spectators rose to give Coach Burt a standing ovation. For some, the reasons could be different but the overall understanding is that Coach Burt has gained the admiration and respect from his peers in Cannon County. A former teacher himself, Coach Burt realizes the importance of educators noting for most parents, “The person watching their children is more important than the President of the United States.”

Coach Burt and Leon Redbone combine to create joyous night Leon_Redbone

The 2010 Coach Micheal Burt Concert Series kicked off on Tuesday night at the Cannon County Art Center in sold-out fashion.

Coach Burt began the event by captivating the audience with a speech about finding your “unique voice” voice in life. Coach Burt was fortunate enough to find his unique voice early on in life through the mentorship of Woodbury resident, Dr. Daryl Deason. Coach Burt touched on his upbringing in Cannon County and the importance of continually giving back to the community he grew up in. He urged the audience to continue in their pursuit of motivation and inspiration as they opened their minds and their hearts to the event.

The first of the five part concert series featured Leon Redbone, whose unique blend of music has grown a following for the past three decades. Redbone was a frequent guest in the 1980s-90s on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.

The next scheduled event will feature Jack Legg Stompers on April 1. The Legg Stompers feature pre-war roots music on period instruments in lively, authentic styles by drawing on decades of historical research. They envision to evoke the moods and atmospheres during the Second World War.

The Coach Micheal Burt Concert Series highlights "Small Towns, Big Dreams" tourartcc

Combining his generosity of charitable contributions with his appreciation for the arts, Coach Micheal Burt has partnered with the Art Center of Cannon County (Woodbury, Tenn.) during a five date concert series.

Known throughout Middle Tennessee as an enthusiast for pioneering and partnering with charity functions including most recently his “Small Towns, Big Dreams” tour, Coach Burt will be the title sponsor creating the Coach Micheal Burt Concert Series.

“As we grow in life we get the opportunity to go back to where it all started and make a difference,” said Coach Burt, about returning to his hometown. “One of the reasons I'm where I am today is because Dr. Daryl Deason invested in me when I was 15-years old.

He taught me how to speak, dream big, and act on my dreams. When he asked me to sponsor this series I gladly accepted. Cannon County is known for several things around the mid-south and one of those is the Arts Center. I look forward to the series and the opportunity to partner with this cause."

The event kicks off on March 2 at 7:30 p.m. with legendary performer Leon Redbone. Traditionally known for his trademark fedora and dark sunglasses, Redbone will perform his three decades worth of unique finger-picking guitar style.
